The Compassionate Friend service is a self-help peer support group open to bereaved parents, siblings and grandparents. Its is a worldwide organisation run by volunteers, which aims to support families with the grief following the death of a child. The service offers friendship and understanding to families who are grieving the death of a child, of any age, from any cause. The service also offer support and information to relatives, friends and professionals who are helping a family.
